Stanford is 33km from Hermanus and 20km from Gansbaai on the R44. Within 20 minutes you can be shopping in Hermanus, or organising your shark diving adventure in Gansbaai.
From Cape Town International Airport:
Take the N2 towards Somerset West.
After the Houwhoek Pass, take the R44 left off-ramp towards Hermanus
In Hermanus follow the Gansbaai/Stanford directional signs. Watch Out for Speed Traps!
Pass through Hermanus and take-in the beautiful view of the Klein Rivier lagoon on your right.
After 20 minutes you'll pass over the Klein Rivier Bridge and then turn right into Stanford Town.
At the Spar Supermarket turn right into Kortmark St.
Die Ou Pastorie, 16 Du Toit Street, is the last house on your left (see Google Map below) on the corner of Kortmark St and Du Toit St. Entrance is on Du Toit St.

Pass through Swellendam and head towards Riviersonderend ("river without end").
10km after Riviersonderend turn left onto the R326 towards Stanford.
Enjoy the drive (it's beautiful). You'll pass Raka Wine Estate on your left (stop and stock-up with some of the finest wines the region has to offer).
Carry on straight until you get to the R44. Pass straight through the intersection.
